I’m here to help busy women take charge of their plates because, let’s be honest, it’s not always easy to make the right food choices. Especially when there is so much to do… Especially when there is so much information (some misleading, others conflicting) about nutrition to make sense of… Especially when there are so many food options available to us it’s simply far too easy not to cook meals from scratch…
I understand how hard it is to put a well-balanced meal on the table. I know because I’ve been there. Before re-training as a Nutrition Coach I worked in the City for 10 years. There was always something better to do then spend my time in the kitchen cooking or to plan my meals in advance. I loved food. I just didn’t enjoy spending hours in the kitchen or have the time (or so I thought) to think about what I was putting into my body. It was far easier to grab breakfast and lunch on the go and then chuck something together in the evening using pre-made “ingredients”. Sound familiar?
It’s a pretty easy trap to fall into but once you begin to understand how your body works and what it needs to work well you can’t help but start to treat it with more respect.
Understanding the havoc a bad diet can wreak on our health (and that of those we love) can be a potent motivator to make the changes necessary to nourish our bodies. Which is why my mission is to Educate, Empower and Support women (and their families) to Eat Well and Live Better.
By taking the time to understand my clients, their lifestyle, their preferences and their needs I am able to create a personalised road map to start building a more healthful lifestyle that is both sustainable and practical.
